Latham & Watkins Paris and Eight Advisory advised La Casa de las Carcasas in its partial acquisition of Claire's operations in France. Claire's, the American retail chain known for fashion accessories and costume jewelry, entered receivership at the end of July 2025. The Paris Commercial Court approved on 14 November 2025 a joint offer submitted by Carcafrancia, the French subsidiary of La Casa de las Carcasas, together with June. The approved transaction results in the acquisition of a total of 146 stores and secures the transfer of 459 employees. Under the terms of the deal, June will continue to operate the Claire's brand in France.
