Watson Farley & Williams advises Okeanis Eco Tankers on US$115 million equity offering

Watson Farley & Williams advised Okeanis Eco Tankers Corp. on its offering of new common shares. The offering comprised approximately 3.2 million new shares of common stock and raised roughly US$115 million. Proceeds from the transaction will be used as partial consideration for the acquisition of two Suezmax newbuild vessels currently under construction at Daehan Shipbuilding Co. in the Republic of Korea. The transaction attracted strong investor demand, and the shares were issued at a price above net asset value. Following issuance and settlement, the new shares will be able to be traded on the New York and Oslo Stock Exchanges. Okeanis Eco Tankers Corp. is an international tanker company active in the crude oil shipping sector; it owns, charters out and manages a fleet of modern tanker vessels.
