Wallace advised Van Mossel Automotive Group on its acquisition of Breeze Motor Group and Ocean Automotive in the United Kingdom. The transaction comprises the purchases of Breeze Motor Group and Ocean Automotive, together representing nine dealer locations on the South Coast. The acquisitions further extend Van Mossel’s footprint into the UK and form the next phase of the group’s buy-and-build strategy. Van Mossel, which has been trading for more than 75 years, is the largest car dealer group in the Benelux region and one of the largest automotive groups in Europe. The group employs over 10,000 people across some 550 locations in Europe and reports an annual turnover in excess of €8.5 billion.
