Papapolitis & Papapolitis Advises Lamda Development on EUR 500 Million Retail Bond Offering and Athens Exchange Listing

Papapolitis & Papapolitis advised Lamda Development on its public offering and planned Athens Exchange listing of euro-denominated retail bonds. The transaction comprised a EUR 500 million public offering of retail bonds denominated in euros and a listing on the Athens Exchange. Financial advisors and lead coordinators on the deal included Eurobank and Piraeus Bank, with Alpha Bank and the National Bank of Greece also serving as lead coordinators. CrediaBank and Optima Bank acted as lead underwriters. The bonds, offered to Greek investors, were oversubscribed by 1.54 times and priced with a coupon of 3.8%, set at the low end of the marketing range. Trading on the Athens Exchange is expected to commence on 19 November 2025. Net proceeds from the issue will be used to finance residential development within Lamda Development’s flagship Ellinikon urban regeneration project. The transaction is presented as a further step in Lamda Development’s funding strategy to support large-scale, mixed-use real estate and infrastructure projects in Greece and as an indicator of continued investor confidence in the company’s long-term vision. In 2023 Papapolitis & Papapolitis also advised Lamda Development on its corporate transformation.
