Partos & Noblet Advises Vajda-Papir Group on Acquisition of Sofidel’s Hungarian Private Label Tissue Business

Partos & Noblet, the associated firm of Hogan Lovells in Hungary, advised Vajda-Papir Group in the transaction; EY Law Hungary advised Sofidel. The transaction covers only Sofidel’s Hungarian private label tissue manufacturing and supply business operated in Labatlan, Hungary and is structured as a transfer of the related business as a going concern. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval. According to Partos & Noblet, the acquisition will enable Vajda-Papir Group to further strengthen its position in the regional household paper market and to expand both its production capacity and product range.
