Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer France advised Neoen on sale of 760 MW operational portfolio to Plenitude

"Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer France advised Neoen on the sale of a 760 MW French operational portfolio to Plenitude (Eni). The portfolio comprises 52 assets (37 solar farms, 14 onshore wind parks and one battery storage unit). Neoen will continue asset management and will retain c.1.1 GW in France. Closing expected by year‑end, subject to approvals."

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer France represented Neoen in the sale of a 760 MW operational French portfolio to Plenitude, a subsidiary of Eni. The transaction covers a portfolio of 760 MW of operational assets in France comprising 52 installations: 37 solar power plants, 14 onshore wind farms and one battery storage unit. Under the agreement, Neoen will continue to manage these assets for several years under an asset management contract with Plenitude. Following completion of the operation, Neoen will retain approximately 1.1 GW of assets in France, including 754 MW of solar, 307 MW of onshore wind and 115 MW / 213 MWh of battery storage. The company also maintains a significant development pipeline across France. The divestment forms part of Neoen’s targeted asset-rotation strategy to reallocate capital in support of growth and innovative energy solutions. Finalisation of the transaction is expected by the end of the year, subject to receipt of required regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
