"LCA Studio Legale advised Società Agricola Halaesa, and PedersoliGattai advised Baglio di Pianetto – Società Agricola, on Halaesa’s acquisition of Tenuta Baroni. Halaesa, an innovative benefit company producing sustainable avocados, acquired the estate to expand and consolidate its Sicilian production chain, with plans to grow to 500 hectares and a capital increase in 2026."

LCA Studio Legale advised Società Agricola Halaesa, while PedersoliGattai advised Baglio di Pianetto – Società Agricola in the transaction. Società Agricola Halaesa, an innovative benefit company engaged in sustainable avocado production in Italy, has acquired Tenuta Baroni as part of a strategy to expand and consolidate its production chain, firmly rooted in Sicily. The operation strengthens Halaesa’s scalability and sustainability, contributing to the development of an integrated and responsible agricultural model. The company plans to expand cultivated areas up to 500 hectares, with a further capital increase planned for 2026. The president of the winery, Gregoire Desforges Marzotto, announced that Baglio di Pianetto is concentrating its vineyards for exclusive development in the mountainous areas of Santa Cristina Gela and Piana degli Albanesi, where the company has its main headquarters. Desforges, who succeeded his grandparents Paolo and Florence Marzotto—among the first, twenty-six years ago, to recognise the potential of the area—continues that vision with a contemporary focus on excellence and sustainability. "These territories, long highly suited to quality viticulture, represent for us the heart of the production of high-profile wines. It is here that our long-term vision is best expressed, responding to consumer expectations with authenticity and coherence. The concentration of crops will also allow us to continue our path toward a cellar with ever lower environmental impact, reducing emissions from transport as well as water consumption, lower in high-altitude areas," the president commented. Vineyards located between 700 and 900 metres of altitude now form the core of the winery’s repositioning strategy; under the enological leadership of Graziana Grassini, these high-altitude sites provide an ideal habitat for producing fresh and elegant wines, consistent with the natural vocation of the territory. LCA Studio Legale represented Società Agricola Halaesa with a team composed by: Nicola Lucifero and Angelica Bonino. PedersoliGattai represented Baglio di Pianetto – Società Agricola with a team composed by: Antonio Pedersoli, Gregorio Lamberti and Alessandro Pirera.
