CMS Luxembourg Advises Innpact and Octobre on Launch of Octobre Liquidity Guarantee Facility (OLGF)

CMS Luxembourg advised Innpact and Octobre S.A.S on the launch of the Octobre Liquidity Guarantee Facility (OLGF). CMS Luxembourg assisted Innpact, the provider of a platform dedicated to structuring and managing impact-driven funds, and Octobre S.A.S, a start-up offering financial services to asset and fund managers, on launching an investment vehicle denominated the Octobre Liquidity Guarantee Facility (OLGF). Set up as a reserved alternative investment fund, OLGF is intended to provide security to investors seeking to exit holdings in emerging markets and developing economies (EMDE) private impact funds by guaranteeing execution of redemption requests during liquidity events. In doing so, OLGF aims to bridge the gap between the long-term financing needs of impactful projects and investors’ liquidity requirements, supporting the scaling of private sector participation and contributing to efforts to close the estimated USD 4.3 trillion annual funding gap for the Sustainable Development Goals. Created in 2020 by Cardano Development (Netherlands), Innpact (Luxembourg) and Octobre S.A.S (France), OLGF’s mission is to unlock private capital at scale for impactful investment in EMDEs.
