Dentons Advises Evcil Group on Acquisition of Three Solar Projects in Romania

Dentons advised Evcil Group on the acquisition of three solar projects in Romania. The announcement was issued in Bucharest on November 24, 2025. The transaction concerns three solar projects with an aggregate capacity of 15 MW. Two of the projects are operational, while the third was acquired at a ready-to-build stage, having obtained all necessary building permits to commence works. The completion of the transactions is subject to customary regulatory approvals. Dentons provided legal support throughout all stages of the projects, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, drafting and negotiation of the transfer documentation, and the signing of the agreements. Dentons represented Evcil Group with a team composed by: Senior Associate Mihut-Ioan Radu (Corporate M&A) who led the transactions, assisted by Associates Ruxandra Ronea and Dragos Nicula (Corporate M&A), under the supervision of Partner Cristian Popescu (Partner, Corporate M&A).
