Dentons advised Gülermak Renewables on its acquisition of the 49.9MW Corshellach Energy Storage Project in Moray, Scotland. The transaction concerns the purchase by Gülermak Renewables of the Corshellach energy storage project, which has a capacity of 49.9MW. Once operational, the project will store excess renewable energy and discharge it during periods of high demand, thereby enhancing the stability of the UK power grid. The acquisition represents a strategic step for Gülermak Renewables to expand its UK presence and to increase investment in local clean energy infrastructure. Gülermak Renewables specialises in wind, solar and battery storage technologies and has renewable projects in the UK and Poland.
