The transaction involved the purchase of LG-B-50A Limited, the project company holding the project rights for a 49.9 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) located near Beauly in the Scottish Highlands. This acquisition marks the first GB BESS project purchase by Asper and the Craydel Group and represents a strategic step to complement their existing generation assets.
