HEUKING advised Frankfurt-based FinTech start-up Donnerstag.ai Technologies GmbH and represented the company in its seed financing round. Donnerstag.ai secured EUR 4.3 million in seed funding. The financing round was led by Speedinvest, with participation from QED Investors, Crestone VC and experienced business angels. The start-up intends to use the funds to advance the development of its platform, accelerate growth and strengthen its equity base. Donnerstag.ai Technologies GmbH develops and operates an AI-supported platform for the automated reconciliation of credit notes and self-generated invoices. The solution helps companies detect discrepancies early, make payments predictable and secure liquidity. It is aimed particularly at industries such as logistics, retail and temporary employment, is fully GDPR-compliant and hosted in the EU. The company was founded by Barbaros Özbugutu and Volkan Özkan, who bring extensive experience in FinTech and payment transactions.
