Simpson Thacher represented Centric Fiber in the transaction, with Ara Partners acting as the acquiring investor. Ara Partners, a global private equity and infrastructure investment firm focused on industrial decarbonization, acquired a majority controlling stake in Centric Fiber. The transaction involved the transfer of control of Centric Fiber to Ara Partners. Centric Fiber is a provider of next-generation fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband infrastructure, serving master-planned communities, multi-family developments, and mixed-use projects in Texas, Florida, and Arizona.
