Latham & Watkins and Eight Advisory advise La Casa de las Carcasas on partial acquisition of Claire’s France

Latham & Watkins Paris and Eight Advisory advised La Casa de las Carcasas, through its French subsidiary Carcafrancia, in a joint offer with the company June to acquire part of Claire’s activities in France. The transaction concerns the partial takeover of Claire’s French operations following the American accessories retailer’s placement in judicial reorganisation in late July 2025. A joint offer carried by Carcafrancia, the French subsidiary of La Casa de las Carcasas, alongside June — which will retain the Claire’s brand — was approved by the Tribunal des activités économiques de Paris by judgment on 14 November 2025. The operation provides for the transfer of 146 stores and 459 employees in total.
