Bruzzo Dubucq and partners represent over 100 French brands and 12 trade federations in legal action against Shein

"Bruzzo Dubucq, with several collaborating firms, represents around 100 French ready-to-wear brands and 12 trade federations in proceedings before the Tribunal de commerce d'Aix-en-Provence against Shein, seeking compensation for alleged economic harm caused by unfair commercial practices following recent regulatory sanctions."

Bruzzo Dubucq, in collaboration with DRUJON d'ASTROS & Associés, SCP ERMENEUX-ARNAUD-CAUCHI & Associés, LX Avocats, MATHIEU-DABOT & Associés, Moatti Avocats and Pietra et Associés, represented approximately one hundred French ready-to-wear brands (clothing, footwear, accessories) and twelve trade federations in judicial proceedings against Shein. The action, brought before the Tribunal de commerce d'Aix-en-Provence, seeks compensation for the economic prejudice allegedly suffered by the French brands as a result of Shein's unfair commercial practices. The claim follows allegations of repeated breaches of the law and references recent regulatory sanctions imposed on Shein, including fines of €150 million by the CNIL and €40 million by the DGCCRF (Ministry of the Economy). Bruzzo Dubucq represented the brands and federations with a team composed by: Cédric Dubucq (lead), Étienne Feildel (associate), Tristan Girard-Gaymard (associate), Baptiste Daligaux (associate), Anthony Roustan (associate), Vanille Launay (collaborator), Jean Bruschi (collaborator), Charles Agostinelli (collaborator) and Mathis Campestrin (collaborator).
