Abreu Advogados Advises ABNSouza on Joint Venture with Vanguard to Launch Corcoran Affiliate in Portugal

Abreu Advogados advised ABNSouza on the creation of a joint venture with Vanguard to launch the first affiliate of The Corcoran Group in Portugal. The transaction involved the incorporation of a new company, Everstone, established to capitalise on the strong growth of Portugal’s premium and luxury residential market and the rising demand from US buyers in the country. The joint venture will operate the first Portuguese affiliate of the US luxury real estate brokerage The Corcoran Group. Abreu Advogados supported the entire company incorporation process, including the drafting, negotiation and execution of the bylaws and shareholders’ agreement, as well as other contracts and documents required for the launch. The firm also coordinated the notification to the Competition Authority and collaborated with external counsel during the process.
