Sumitomo Corporation to acquire 49% stake in TruAlt Gas in joint venture with TruAlt Bioenergy; TT&A and DSK Legal advise

"TT&A advised Sumitomo Corporation and DSK Legal advised TruAlt Bioenergy and TruAlt Gas on a transaction in which Sumitomo will acquire a 49% stake in TruAlt Gas and form a joint venture with TruAlt Bioenergy to develop and operate compressed biogas plants and related by-products."

TT&A and DSK Legal acted on the transaction: TT&A advised Sumitomo Corporation, while DSK Legal advised TruAlt Bioenergy and TruAlt Gas. The transaction concerns the formation of a joint venture between Sumitomo Corporation and TruAlt Bioenergy Limited to operate TruAlt Gas Private Limited for the development and establishment of compressed biogas plants. As part of the arrangement, Sumitomo Corporation will acquire a 49% equity stake in TruAlt Gas from an existing shareholder. The joint venture will focus on the production of compressed biogas and associated by-products.
