Eiffel Investment Group to finance 120 GWh biomethane facility in Ireland

"Arthur Cox advised Eiffel Investment Group on financing a new biomethane production facility to be developed by Evergreen Agricultural Enterprises. The project, due to begin mid-2026, is expected to produce c.120 GWh/year for injection into Gas Networks Ireland's national gas grid."

Arthur Cox advised Eiffel Investment Group on the financing of a new biomethane production facility to be developed by Evergreen Agricultural Enterprises. The project, scheduled to begin in mid-2026, is expected to produce approximately 120 GWh of renewable biomethane annually. Biomethane is a renewable gas generated by the breakdown of organic waste products and can be used in a similar way to natural gas. Production from the facility will be for direct injection into the national gas grid operated by Gas Networks Ireland.
