Weil Advises Brookfield on $5 Billion Initial Closing of Brookfield AI Infrastructure Fund

"Weil advised Brookfield on the $5 billion initial closing of the Brookfield AI Infrastructure Fund (BAIIF), which included capital commitments from Brookfield, NVIDIA and KIA. BAIIF is targeting $10 billion of equity commitments to invest across AI infrastructure and, with co-investor capital and financing, may acquire up to $100 billion of assets."

Weil advised Brookfield in connection with the $5 billion initial closing of the Brookfield AI Infrastructure Fund (BAIIF), which attracted capital commitments from Brookfield, NVIDIA and KIA. BAIIF is targeting $10 billion of equity commitments to invest in the backbone of artificial intelligence. The fund will deploy capital across the full AI infrastructure value chain. BAIIF, together with additional capital from its co-investors and prudent financing, will acquire up to $100 billion of AI infrastructure assets, investing across every stage of the value chain—from energy and land to data centers and compute.
