Arnold & Porter Advises Paramount on Sale of Chilevisión to Vytal Group

"Arnold & Porter acted as lead counsel to Paramount Skydance Corporation in the agreement to sell its shares in the entities controlling Chilevisión, a Chilean broadcast network, to Vytal Group LTD, a holding company controlled by Tomás Yankelevich. The deal was signed Nov. 14 and is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval."

Arnold & Porter represented Paramount Skydance Corporation in an agreement to sell its shares in the entities that control Chilevisión to Vytal Group LTD. Under the agreement, signed on November 14, Vytal Group, a holding company controlled by media executive Tomás Yankelevich, will assume oversight of Chilevisión following closing. The sale covers Paramount's shareholdings in the companies that control the broadcast television network in Chile. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval.
