DLA Piper Advises Syndicate of Lenders on EUR 165 Million Refinancing of Budapest’s Etele Plaza

DLA Piper advised a syndicate of lenders including Erste Bank Hungary, Erste Group Bank and UniCredit Bank Hungary on the EUR 165 million refinancing of Etele Plaza, a shopping and entertainment centre in Budapest owned by the Futureal Group. The transaction refinances the original 2018 development financing that supported the construction of Etele Plaza. The centre has since become one of Central Europe’s more innovative retail and entertainment destinations.
