Dentons Advises I&U Group on Restructuring of Up to USD 40 Million in Loans

Dentons advised Ukrainian agribusiness company I&U Group, while Redcliffe Partners, working in cooperation with Asserson, advised the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB). The transaction comprised the restructuring of up to USD 40 million in loans owed by I&U Group to a consortium of lenders. According to Dentons, the restructuring process covered facilities extended by the EBRD, the BSTDB, Oschadbank, Credit Agricole, Ukrsibbank (BNP Paribas Group) and ProCredit Bank. I&U Group specialises in the cultivation and production of agricultural commodities, including sugar, flour, grains, rapeseed, sunflower seeds and wheat.
