Goodwin Advises Owlo on €1.5 Million Fundraising to Develop Innovative IVF Microscope

Goodwin represented Owlo in its €1.5 million fundraising round. The financing round was led by Daphni together with the new life‑sciences business angels club Cercle de Chiron, IXCore Groupe (founded by Hervé Arditty, formerly of iXblue), FI8C (Thibault Courthéoux of Nanolive) and investor Alain Decombe (Dechert). The proceeds will be dedicated to the development of an innovative microscope for in vitro fertilization (IVF). Founded in 2024, Owlo is a deeptech spin‑out from the Institut Langevin under CNRS supervision. The company develops a non‑invasive, real‑time 3D cellular imaging module for microscopes combined with software and AI, intended to improve oocyte and embryo selection. Owlo aims to obtain CE marking and commence clinical deployment in 2026. Goodwin represented Owlo with a team composed by: Anne‑Charlotte Rivière (partner, corporate), Joséphine Remoussenard (associate, corporate) and Marie Fillon (partner, intellectual property).
