Occhiuto Legal represented the lead investor The Techshop SGR, while Giovannelli e Associati represented Klaaryo in the transaction. Klaaryo, a startup that has developed a conversational recruiting system based on WhatsApp and artificial intelligence, completed an investment round of more than €2.1 million. The increase in capital was led by The Techshop SGR through the Techshop I fund, a pre-seed and seed vehicle dedicated to Italian B2B software startups with a particular focus on SaaS. Co-investor was Frontech Accelerator, the frontier technologies accelerator of the Rete Nazionale CDP. Several business angels also participated, including Ottavio Maria Campigli alongside partners from W Executive, the founders of Hlpy and Paolo Fois, founder and CEO of Lexroom. Founded by Federico Pedron, Luca Tamborino Frisari and Luigi Adornetto, Klaaryo’s platform employs WhatsApp and AI to redesign the entire employee journey—from talent attraction to onboarding and engagement—moving beyond the traditional concept of recruiting. The newly raised capital will enable Klaaryo to expand its team, accelerate platform development, strengthen its position as a category leader, consolidate its presence in the Italian market and enter new European markets.
