BCLP represented Macquarie Capital Venture Capital, NRW.BANK and TechVision Fund in their investment in Cologne-based AI startup octonomy AI. The transaction comprised a $20 million Series Seed financing round led by Macquarie Capital and completed in October 2025. Early-stage investor Capnamic Ventures also participated. This Series Seed round — the first to involve institutional investors for octonomy AI — secured capital to support the company’s planned international expansion, including new offices in the United States and India. Founded in 2024, octonomy AI develops intelligent software to automate complex business processes. Prior to this financing, the company completed two Pre-Seed rounds, raising a total of EUR 6 million.
