The Paris office of international business law firm Simmons & Simmons advised Supermarket Income REIT plc on the acquisition of a portfolio of 20 Carrefour supermarkets in France in a sale & leaseback transaction. The transaction concerns the acquisition of a portfolio valued at €123 million (excluding acquisition costs) with a gross internal area of 44,000 m². The portfolio comprises 20 supermarkets located throughout France and was completed as a sale & leaseback, expanding Supermarket Income REIT plc's existing presence into new locations.
