White & Case Advises Macif on Strategic Partnership and €50 Million Investment in Cosmobilis Group

White & Case advised Macif, Bird & Bird advised Cosmobilis Group, and Veil Jourde advised Groupe Crédit Agricole in relation to the transaction. Macif, France's leading motor insurer, has entered into a long-term strategic partnership with Cosmobilis Group, a European mobility platform, and has taken a €50 million equity stake in Cosmobilis Group. The partnership is intended to build a comprehensive ecosystem designed to deliver simpler, more accessible and better integrated mobility services. The collaboration will be structured around three core pillars. First, Macif insurance products will be made available in Cosmobilis Group retail locations. Second, the partners will offer tailored mobility solutions for Macif policyholders, including the sale and financing of new and used vehicles. Third, the alliance will pursue initiatives in vehicle repair aimed at reducing costs and improving after-sales service quality.
