Candido Martins Cukier and FLH Advise on BRL 300 Million CRA Issuance Backed by Eucatex

"Candido Martins Cukier advised issuer Vert Companhia Securitizadora and FLH advised underwriters BTG Pactual Investment Banking and Banco Safra on the 109th CRA issuance: three-series agribusiness receivables certificates totaling BRL 300 million. The CRAs are backed by commercial notes issued by Eucatex and secured by a corporate guarantee, first liens over forestry assets and an escrow account; proceeds will fund Eucatex's agribusiness activities."

Candido Martins Cukier advised the issuer Vert Companhia Securitizadora, and FLH advised the underwriters BTG Pactual Investment Banking and Banco Safra in the transaction. The transaction comprised the 109th issuance of agribusiness receivables certificates (CRA) by Vert Companhia Securitizadora, issued in three series for a total amount of BRL 300 million. The CRAs were backed by commercial notes issued in three series by Eucatex Indústria e Comércio. Those notes were secured by a corporate guarantee granted by its parent company Eucatex Indústria e Comércio, by a first lien security interest over forestry assets, and by a first lien on a designated escrow account held by Eucatex. Proceeds from the offering will be used by Eucatex to fund its agribusiness activities, including the production and trade of wood.
