Cleary Gottlieb represented the initial purchasers BBVA Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, Deutsche Bank Securities, J.P. Morgan Securities and Balanz Capital UK in a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering by Transportadora de Gas del Sur (TGS). The transaction comprised an offering by TGS of US$500 million principal amount of 7.75% senior notes due 2035. The offering was launched on November 10, priced on November 13, and was scheduled to close on November 20. The notes are expected to be listed on BYMA and A3 Mercados. Transportadora de Gas del Sur is Argentina’s leading natural gas transporter and operates the longest pipeline network in Latin America. Its operations also include natural gas processing, marketing of liquid products, and telecommunications services through a subsidiary. Cleary Gottlieb represented the initial purchasers BBVA Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, Deutsche Bank Securities, J.P.
