Bird & Bird advises Escala 24×7 on reorganisation and 60% stake sale to Stefanini Group

Bird & Bird advised Escala 24×7 in connection with a cross-border reorganisation and the sale of 60% of the Escala 24×7 group to Stefanini Group. The transaction involved the reorganisation of the Escala 24×7 group and the subsequent sale of a majority stake to Stefanini Group. The alliance is intended to enable Stefanini to expand its AWS cloud service offerings and to accelerate Escala 24×7’s growth while capitalising on the developing cloud market in Latin America. The transaction is reported to be one of Stefanini’s largest investments to date. Escala 24×7 is a US-based IT services and cloud consulting company and an Amazon Web Services Premier Consulting Partner with a presence across Latin America. The company serves over 300 clients in the region and expects to generate US$100 million in revenues in 2025. Bird & Bird’s Madrid team provided comprehensive advice on M&A and tax matters relating to the cross-border reorganisation and the implementation of the transfer of a substantial part of Escala 24×7’s LATAM business to Spain ahead of the transfer of 60% of the business to Stefanini Group.
