Deloitte Legal Advises TWS Shareholders on 80% Sale to ALS

"Deloitte Legal advised the shareholders of Trans World Shipping (TWS) on the sale of 80% of TWS and of its foreign group companies to ALS. ALS was assisted by its in-house legal department. The strategic-industrial transaction strengthens ALS in Fashion & Luxury and creates a combined player with €258m revenues and over 2,800 employees."

Deloitte Legal advised the shareholders of Trans World Shipping (TWS), while ALS was assisted by its internal legal department, in the transaction described below. The transaction involved the sale by the shareholders of Trans World Shipping — an operator in logistics and international freight forwarding with offices in Italy, France, the United Kingdom and the United States — of 80% of TWS’s share capital to ALS. In the same operation, 80% of TWS’s foreign group companies were also transferred to ALS. The operation is strategic and industrial in nature and strengthens ALS’s presence in the Fashion & Luxury sector with an even more international profile, combining local roots, stable governance and a global network. The integration of ALS and TWS consolidates the respective competences and gives rise to a new player with combined revenues of €258 million and more than 2,800 employees.
