Gianni & Origoni and BonelliErede in Maggiore SPV securitization of public-sector receivables

Gianni & Origoni and BonelliErede participated in a complex securitization transaction: Gianni & Origoni acted as transaction counsel to Maggiore SPV, while BonelliErede advised Banca Ifis. IGB Consulting took on the roles of sub-servicer and co-arranger, and 130 Servicing served as master servicer. The transaction was a multi-originator securitization of performing receivables owed by public entities, implemented by the securitization vehicle Maggiore SPV. Maggiore SPV issued two classes of notes: a portion of the senior notes was subscribed by Banca Ifis, which also acted as co-arranger of the operation; the remaining notes were subscribed by investment funds managed by a leading independent Italian asset manager specializing in private markets. IGB Consulting, a primary operator in the management of public-sector receivables, acted as sub-servicer and co-arranger of the transaction. 130 Servicing was appointed master servicer and managed the servicing role for the vehicle.
