Legance and BonelliErede in Ecoenergy's first project finance in Italy

Legance and BonelliErede acted in a financing transaction: Legance advised Eco Holdco 1, the project holding company owned by EcoGreenDev (Lux) and jointly controlled by Ecoenergy International LTD and INFRAGREEN IV, while BonelliErede advised UniCredit. The transaction consists of a project finance facility of approximately €60 million. The proceeds will be used, inter alia, to finance development and construction costs for a portfolio of photovoltaic plants located in Italy with a total generating capacity of about 64.3 MW. The operation represents Ecoenergy's first project financing in the Italian market and reinforces the company's growth strategy in Europe. UniCredit acted in the transaction as global coordinator & bookrunner, structuring mandated lead arranger and green loan coordinator. Legance represented Eco Holdco 1 (EcoGreenDev (Lux) / Ecoenergy International LTD / INFRAGREEN IV) with a team composed by: partners Monica Colombera and Simone Ambrogi (team leaders), senior associate Antonino De Sebastiano and associates Elena Guazzone and Claudia Prendi, with administrative law handled by partner Cristina Martorana, senior associates Flavia Frascati and Nicola Balestrieri and associate Giulia Gandolfo, and tax matters led by counsel Luigi Quaratino and associate Francesco Antico.
