Lydian Advises SNF Group on Belgian Aspects of Syensqo Oil and Gas Business Acquisition

Lydian advised the French SNF Group on the Belgian legal aspects of its acquisition of the oil and gas division of Syensqo. The transaction concerns SNF Group’s acquisition of Syensqo’s oil and gas business unit. Syensqo, a leading science and chemical company and a spin-off of Solvay listed on Euronext Brussels, divested this division to SNF. The deal strengthens SNF Group’s global position in the specialty chemicals sector and represents a further step in its international expansion.
