honert Advises NanoTemper on Acquisition of Envue Technologies

"honert advised NanoTemper Technologies GmbH on the acquisition of shares in Swedish start-up Envue Technologies, with Vinge providing support on Swedish law. The deal integrates Envue’s Nanofluidic Scattering Microscopy into NanoTemper’s spectral shift technology, strengthening its analytical capabilities for biophysical research and accelerating early-stage drug development."

honert represented NanoTemper Technologies GmbH in the acquisition of shares in the Swedish start-up Envue Technologies, with Vinge providing support on Swedish law. The transaction saw NanoTemper Technologies GmbH acquire shares in Envue Technologies. NanoTemper, an innovative biotech company founded in 2008, develops instruments and software solutions for biophysical characterization to simplify complex scientific processes and help research and biopharma teams make faster, more reliable decisions. The acquisition brings Envue’s label-free single-molecule Nanofluidic Scattering Microscopy (NSM) technology into NanoTemper’s existing portfolio of spectral shift technology. Envue Technologies, a Swedish start-up, develops nanofluidic technologies for label-free analysis of individual biomolecules. Its core innovation, Nanofluidic Scattering Microscopy (NSM), enables real-time visualization and characterization of proteins and other molecules under native conditions, providing high-resolution insights into their physical properties and interactions. The integration of Envue’s NSM technology with NanoTemper’s spectral shift methods represents a strategic milestone for NanoTemper. The combined capabilities are intended to strengthen NanoTemper’s position as a provider of advanced analytical methods in biophysical research and to offer researchers improved tools to understand molecular processes earlier in drug development, thereby reducing uncertainty and potentially accelerating the development of novel therapeutics. honert represented NanoTemper Technologies GmbH with a team composed by: Judith Kutter; Dr. Kai-Klemens Wehlage (both lead); Johanna Schöbener; Martin Walter-Schunke (M&A). Vinge represented NanoTemper Technologies GmbH with a team composed by: Wibeke Sorling; Hanna Jansson.
