The transaction transfers Kanawha Scales & Systems (KSS), a provider of weighing calibration, repair services and automation solutions that support mission‑critical operations, to an Investcorp affiliate. With regulatory standards tightening and increasing adoption of automation, demand for KSS’s capabilities is expanding across multiple end markets. Benesch advised American Equipment Holdings on all aspects of the transaction, including corporate/M&A, tax, employment and benefits, real estate, environmental and intellectual property matters.
