Joelson advised Marleybones Limited in connection with a £2.5 million investment from TAW Ventures, with additional participation from JamJar Investments, Active Partners and Animal Health Angels. The transaction comprises a £2.5 million funding round for Marleybones, a UK-based fresh dog food company founded in 2020. The round is notable for its strong female representation, bringing together a female-founded company and an all-female investor team. Marleybones offers slow-cooked, nutritionally complete meals packaged in sustainable, fully recyclable cartons, together with vet-developed supplements, an omega oil and natural air-dried treats, all produced in the UK using locally sourced British ingredients. The company has grown more than 200% since its previous round and has delivered broader retail distribution, strategic partnerships and the launch of a supplement line. The new funding will be used to expand the teams, elevate brand presence and accelerate customer growth. Joelson represented Marleybones Limited with a team composed by: Paul Chiappe, Managing Partner; Annabel Mockridge, Associate; Georgia Edmonson, Solicitor.
