Hogan Lovells Advises Togus Urban Renewal on Creation of Industry-Leading TV and Film Production Studio

Hogan Lovells advised Togus Urban Renewal, LLC in connection with the development of 1888 Studios and its anchor lease with Paramount, a Skydance Corporation company. The firm advised on the development of 1888 Studios, a film and television production campus to be built in Bayonne, New Jersey. Upon completion of construction, the 1.6 million square foot campus will be one of the largest campus-style production facilities in the northeastern United States and among the largest in the nation. Paramount, a Skydance Corporation (NASDAQ: PSKY), has committed to occupy more than 285,000 square feet of the to-be-built facility under a landmark ten-year lease. That anchor commitment was instrumental in Paramount’s designation by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) Board on 30 October 2025 as a Studio Partner under the state’s Film and Digital Media Tax Credit program. Hogan Lovells advised Togus Urban Renewal on the anchor lease.
