Larrain y Asociados Backs Financing for New Fantasilandia Park in Chile

Larrain y Asociados and CEPD Abogados advised the parties in the transaction, assisting Banco del Estado de Chile and Sociedad Comercial Itahue Limitada, respectively. Larrain y Asociados acted as legal counsel to Banco del Estado de Chile on the structuring, negotiation and closing of financing provided to Sociedad Comercial Itahue Limitada, the operator of the Fantasilandia amusement park, for the development and construction of a new park to be located in the southern area of the Metropolitan Region of Santiago. Fantasilandia, opened in 1978 and regarded as Chile's largest and most important amusement park in terms of size and facilities, will be redeveloped as a 27-hectare international-standard complex. The project, due to open in 2027, will comprise an amusement park with approximately 52 rides and a water park featuring a wave pool, lazy river and water slides, with attractions acquired from leading global manufacturers. The financing transaction closed successfully on November 7, 2025, for a total amount of US$30,000,000.
