Pares Advises Airbus Flight Academy and Sevenair Academy on Pilot Training Partnership

Pares Advogados advised Airbus Flight Academy and Sevenair Academy on the establishment of a partnership agreement to advance pilot training capacity in Europe. The agreement recognises Sevenair Academy, based in Ponte de Sôr, as the only pilot school in Europe to offer a specific Airbus CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) programme, aimed at preparing the next generation of aviation professionals to industry standards. The partnership offers a comprehensive training programme designed to take cadets with no prior flight experience through all stages of training until they become licensed pilots. The collaboration responds to anticipated market needs, with estimates that some 633,000 new pilots will be required worldwide over the next 20 years, of which approximately 119,000 will be in Europe.
