Dreny & Partners Advises ValU on EGP 735 Million Securitization

Dreny & Partners advised ValU on the closing of the company’s 19th securitization transaction, valued at EGP 735 million. The transaction was backed by a receivables portfolio originated by ValU and forms part of a three-year multi-issuance securitization programme with an aggregate value of EGP 4 billion. EFG Hermes Promoting & Underwriting S.A.E served as financial advisor and lead arranger for the transaction. Arab African International Bank and EFG Hermes Promoting & Underwriting S.A.E acted as underwriters. Arab African International Bank also served as custodian and bookrunner, while Baker Tilly (Hilal & Abdel Ghaffar) acted as the official auditor.
