CMS Advises Stumpf Group on Acquisition of Kurfürstendamm 231 Property in Berlin

"CMS advised Stumpf KD231 GmbH, part of the Austrian Stumpf Group, on the acquisition of the property at Kurfürstendamm 231 in Berlin from the insolvency administrator of Kurfürstendamm 231 Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG (formerly Signa Group). The site is currently used mainly as a department store; future use will be decided with city and district planners."

CMS advised Stumpf KD231 GmbH, a company in the Austrian Stumpf Group, on the transaction. The Stumpf Group has acquired the property at Kurfürstendamm 231 in Berlin from the insolvency administrator for the assets of Kurfürstendamm 231 Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG, a company of the former Signa Group. The site is currently used mainly as a department store. The Stumpf Group will decide in the coming months, together with the city, district and specialist planners, on the future use of the site. The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction.
