Gowling WLG advised the shareholders of Ezee Group International Limited (EGI) on their sale to Ryleon, a leading European provider of sustainable packaging and security solutions. The transaction involved the sale of EGI, a company that designs and develops high-quality moulded fibre packaging solutions with operations in both the UK and the US. EGI supplies sustainable alternatives to plastic, EPS and foam across a range of applications from beverages to home improvement, operating from its UK headquarters and supported by a wholly owned US subsidiary. The acquisition by Ryleon is intended to cement a partnership that will create real growth opportunities for the combined businesses.
