Latham & Watkins LLP represented the undisclosed buyer in the sale by Baytex Energy Corp. of its US Eagle Ford assets. Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX: BTE) (NYSE: BTE) announced it has entered into a definitive purchase and sale agreement to dispose of its US Eagle Ford assets for US$2.305 billion in cash. The transaction will be effected pursuant to the terms set out in the definitive agreement. Latham & Watkins LLP represented the undisclosed buyer with a team composed by: Justin T. Stolte, Kevin Richardson, James Robertson, and Nathan Zhang, with assistance from Robert Cunningham and Patrick Donlon.
