Latham & Watkins Advises MTT Shipping on Proposed IPO on Bursa Malaysia

Latham & Watkins advised MTT Shipping Sdn. Bhd. on its proposed public offering. The transaction concerns MTT Shipping’s proposed initial public offering of 633.5 million new shares to be listed on Bursa Malaysia. The offering is presented as a primary issuance intended to support the company’s market listing on the Malaysian stock exchange. Latham & Watkins has also acted on several notable IPO matters in Malaysia this year, including advising Sunway Healthcare Holdings on its proposed offering and advising Eco-Shop Marketing Berhad on its IPO raising RM974.2 million (approximately US$230 million), one of Malaysia’s largest offerings in 2025 to date.
