Simpson Thacher LLP represented The Mosaic Company in connection with its registered public offering of senior notes. The Mosaic Company completed a registered public offering consisting of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 4.350% Senior Notes due 2029 and $400 million aggregate principal amount of 4.600% Senior Notes due 2030, for an aggregate $900 million of senior notes. Mosaic intends to use the proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment of indebtedness. Mosaic is the world's leading producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients. The company is a single-source supplier of phosphate- and potash-based crop nutrients and animal feed ingredients.
