Baker Donelson Advises cj Advertising Owners on Sale to Herringbone Digital

"Baker Donelson advised the owners of cj Advertising on the company's sale to Herringbone Digital. The transaction combines cj Advertising’s 30-year personal-injury marketing expertise and full-service offerings with Herringbone Digital’s digital capabilities to expand digital marketing services for personal injury law firms nationwide."

Baker Donelson represented the owners of cj Advertising in the company's sale to Herringbone Digital. The transaction transfers ownership of cj Advertising, a firm with a 30-year track record in client-focused marketing for personal injury law firms, to Herringbone Digital. The acquisition pairs cj Advertising’s data-driven strategies and creative services — including video production, website design, digital marketing (SEO, PPC, social media) and strategic media buying — with Herringbone Digital’s digital expertise. Since its 2024 launch, Herringbone Digital has focused on supporting businesses across dental, legal, home services and health care sectors; this move is intended to expand digital marketing capabilities for personal injury law firms across the country. Baker Donelson represented the owners of cj Advertising with a team composed by: Jordan Savitz (led the team) (Baltimore and Washington, D.C.); shareholders Emma J. Redden (Memphis), Scott M. Douglass (Memphis), Andrea Bailey Powers (Birmingham), and Matthew G. White (Memphis); of counsel Charles W. "Chuck" Goldberg Jr. (Nashville) and Elverine "Rena" F. Felton (Atlanta); and associates Meagan O. Davis (Memphis) and Thomas M. Garrott (Memphis). The team advised on the matter within Baker Donelson’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice.
