Baykal | Saris and Gokkilic advised Bilgin Enerji on the acquisition, while ASC Law represented the sellers Doğan Enerji, Doğuş Holding and Teknik Mühendislik. The transaction involved Bilgin Enerji's acquisition of Boyabat Elektrik Uretim, the owner of the 513-megawatt Boyabat Hydroelectric Power Plant. The asset was acquired from Doğan Enerji, Doğuş Holding and Teknik Mühendislik. The Boyabat HEPP is one of the largest privately owned hydroelectric facilities in Türkiye and plays a central role in the country’s renewable-energy infrastructure.
