The transaction involves R.Power's sale of a 49.99% stake in a 127-megawatt / 254-megawatt-hour battery energy storage system (BESS) project located in Scornicesti, Olt County, to Eiffel Investment Group. The transfer is effected as part of a newly formed joint venture between the parties. According to Nyerges & Partners, the transaction covers all stages of the partnership setup and the transfer of the project. According to Ijdelea & Associates, the overall value of the project is EUR 57 million.
