Sorainen represented Desktop Commander in connection with the company’s EUR 1.1 million pre-seed financing, which was led by venture capital funds 42CAP and BADideas.fund. The round values the early-stage investment support for Desktop Commander as it scales its platform. The funding will be used to continue product development and to expand the team as the company advances its technology and market deployment. Desktop Commander has developed the open-source Desktop Commander MCP server, a platform that provides artificial intelligence with direct access to a user’s computer and file system. The tool enables AI to manage files, operate the terminal, write code and interact with users in natural language, facilitating deeper automation and developer workflows.
